Ifö Basic. Vill ha såna i kökstaket.
aka.

Waiting for me when I get home,
When we moved to our new flat, we took the opportunity to throw some old IKEA stuff out. Which left us without a table in front of the couch. Nothing to put our feet on. So, to be sure we had a table when we got back from the summer vacation, we ordered 'Flower' from Stalands Möbler/Swedese. Delivery in 8 weeks, ie. it will be ready for pick up when I get back to Stockholm (which is in a couple of hours).
We chose a matte black laminated surface to avoid coffee cup stains etc. (kids) and a oak rim (just like the pictured table).
Flower was designed by danish designer Christine Schwarzer for Swedese in 2004.

Bought a couple of lamps from GamlaLampor.com
Been redecorating our cottage for a couple of weeks, and as a fan of these kind of things I've been reading and looking through magazines related to the matter. Unfortunately they all follow the trends closely and taint my taste. :P
Shabby Chic is in. Industrial lighting (worn, and... shabby chic) is as well. And I absolutely love lamps. LOVE lamps. I have been Ebaying some for an old vintage wall lamp that could sit above the sofa at home, for reading books and magazines. Flicking thru Sköna Hem I stumbled up on a website which sell old looking industrial light for Cheap, GamlaLampor.com. Out of Malmö. Gosh. No worn vintage lamps on there right now, at least nothing I'm interested in... However, they had some newly produced replicas...
An hour later I ordered four lamps (incl. two as a packade). Here they are.
You never know when you might need a reading lamp:
Until I find a lamp with a extendable arm, this will go next to the sofa:
For the wall (dunno where I'm going to put them yet)

Shabby Chic? Grislampa,
Piglet heat light courtesy of Bengt, the local farmer. I can remember the sound of the piglets running around knocking the lamps front and back. The chain holding the lamp moving over the shield. We used to pick the small piglets up and play with them to their distress. Wonder if it's going to fit over our dinner table. Johanna doesn't know about me bringing it home yet.
Mental note: change all the cords and get a less rusty chain.
